There were women who fought on the Russian side, in tanks or infantry. So, the option to be soviet female would be historically accurate, and also more inclusive. So, i propose you include the option to be a female russian soldier!

Then prepared to be ignored

In all honesty, there are more pressing issues at hand

like where are all the bikini girls and cheerleaders in Stalingrad?
This is war for god's sake. There were plenty of morale rallies.

I'd rather them run a script that randomly gives certain Germans (independent of class) greatcoats. THIS IS A FEATURE WE NEED IN RO2!

Do you really want her in game?:

A lot of people may not know but women have in fact fought in the front lines in many wars. Stalingrad wasn't the first time and it sure wasn't the last women fought for the Motherland.
I would love to see this in the future but there is bigger fish to fry.

The problem is that having every fifteenth Russian soldier (ratios are probably even higher, females were mainly used as sharpshooters as far as I know) being a female is that female and male divisions probably didn't mix.

Besides the few sniper/markswomen they had some female AA, Arty gunners and nurses.

The AA and Arty gunners got weapons training, not the nurses.

AA and Arty crews were on the eastern bank of the Volga and see no action in Stalingrad.

Females were used in almost all roles during the war. Most common was Air defense and Artillery. There were tank companies comprised of all females. Engineer/sapper units of mostly females. Many squadrons of all females and ground crews too. A lot of infantry battalions had females in some auxillary role. Snipers, the steorotypical hollywood version of Russian female soldiers was small compared to the other professions. Several good russian books recently translated on this topic available online.

Sort of off topic but sometimes armored vehicles would be manned by a family. The driver would be the father, gunner/cdr the wife, and loader the son or daughter. This occured in the dark days of 41/42 and the family usually took possesion of the vehicle straight from the factory.
