Female skins?

One of the most frequent friends of mine who'm i actually play on a daily basis with is a female.
She loves the game, she loves it dearly.
But she is allso a bit annoyed she has no cool looking female characters to choose from, is there ANY chance what so ever to actually implement this soon?

You need a new model, a new texture, a new skeleton and animations to match (because using the male skeleton for a female character will look awful), and also you need a voice actress to record a whole load of dialogue.

In short, don't get your hopes up, it's a huge amount of work.

I disagree about the male animations looking awful for female characters. The modelers just need to make the women look like realistically battle-ready women with appropriate armor (i.e. women with similar proportions to the male characters), instead of some sort of scantily clad supermodels with their barely-hidden boobs free to bounce around.

New models and textures are something they do with every DLC anyway. They could probably release a 4-female pack featuring one common female voice.

Speaking of the voice, though, I do agree that the acting would be an issue though, not just because of the trouble of casting and paying an actress, but because players will be heavily critical of a new voice. Remember the recent reaction to the discovery of that third male voice?

To be completely honest, after getting the new weapons for the 2011 Twisted Christmas, I wouldn't be surprised if Tripwire is actually working on this in some form or another. Then they can do the whole "guess what, b!tches!?" thing over again. People will rejoice, people will complain, and TWI will once again show us how much they love their games and their supporters. :]

Well, it would be a nice addition (as long as it's not too much of a boobs and backside showing contest) for any players. Even some skinny female with the same model would be nice. We all have a friend that cannot be said to be male or female at first glance: Not too short and with short hair, not a feminine way of moving. And some additionnal voice acting to match.

But when I read that the reason for a dead player's (or dropped) weapon to disapear at the beginning of a round was because of a lack of data space (or something similar), I think that even more skins or models would be slightly too much for the game. Or they'll get rid of some things.

I believe the major problem that everyone had with that voice was that it wasn't anywhere near the cheesy, thick british accents we've become so accustomed to. Back on topic, I know quite a few people who would LOVE to see some female models for KF.

I'd like to see female skins/models added if it's possible, one of my Steam friends is female and a very good medic so I'm sure she'd like to play as her own gender but please no scantily clad women, keep it sensible

I believe one side effect was having the alternative voices and such in the game would have a significant enough effect on the minimum system requirements of the game to potentially cause problems on lower end machines.
That seems to be something that TWI really want to avoid when you look at what they have done with their other updates. Hardly surprising with all the lip they got for the performance issues during the Christmas event.

When I used to like TF2 I enjoyed debating that topic. Personally I think the Pyro is a guy. As for the reasons why, I'll save the energy of typing them out for talking about a game that I don't despise
