man, it's in the official announcement, read it. i'm not going to go hunt that up for you but it says something to the effect of, in the future we plan to sell guns in the crates with "new gameplay elements".Yeah I'm not gonna do the personal attack thing, it's boring and gets us nowhere, but I would like to see sources on the info from your first post there if you'd oblige us. No worries if not.
Ryno you got owned bro, u don't know maths!! Haha!

now what exactly do you think is meant by "new gameplay elements" because they don't mention selling new monsters, new game modes or new maps in those crates, so what could the new gameplay elements be?
do you believe they will sell guns that make the game more difficult? because that's how they did it in the past, right? yea, everybody would be happy with guns that make the game harder. am i right?
all the guns they sold in kf1 made the game easier and everybody knows this, no matter what you say.I remember reading that and it does not reinforce your point, not one bit. Different gameplay elements could be like a Husk Fireball gun as an alternative T3 to the flamethrower for example: Long range, hard hitting, but terrible at crowd control and has expensive/easily used up ammo. That's a different gameplay element which would make the FB like a sharpshooter.
Or how about a commando battle rifle which is burst fire only and takes an age to reload but hits like a truck? I cannot call any of these UP or OP because (and this bit is important) I have not seen TWI's version of this yet, nobody has.
What I'm saying is it doesn't translate to "TWI are making OP weapons for sale".
Even if that was a concern, it's one for later, right now it's hats and paintjobs.
I don't know about that, remember the 3rd weapon pack? Of course Flare revolvers, for example, were incredibly OP, but I don't think this was the intent. If you're saying that the added weapons will be OP, well it might end up that way. If you're actually saying that TWI intends to sell weapons that are blatantly better than the default set to give people an advantage over other players if they pay more money, well, that's not really something you have a basis for.all the games they sold in kf1 made the game easier and everybody knows this, no matter what you say.

obviously, you are on their payroll, so i'm done responding to you.
i didn't buy any of them but i have friends who did so i have tried all of them and they all seem to make the game much easier to win.I don't know about that, remember the 3rd weapon pack? Not a bad idea. I'd personally prefer the "if you have it you won't get it" system, or maybe even just outright giving you a rare cosmetic for achieving something (10,000 RPG kills = rare RPG skin). The less chance-based they can make it the better in my opinion.

since i am obviously not smart enough to read between the lines.
I think the first pack was pretty darn OP, the second pack was partially OP(Orca was okay, ZedThrower was fun but not much use), people complained that the weapons in the third pack were useless (except the harpoon gun <3, and I'm sure people got use out of the ZED MK2), what that says to me, at the very least, is that they were working on it over time.i didn't buy any of them but i have friends who did so i have tried all of them and they all seem to make the game much easier to win.
It's not that you're not smart enough, it's just that you seem to rush to come to that conclusion. Elements could be all sorts of things, there could be a weapon that freezes zeds, that'd be a new element. Or a weapon, like the blowerthrower, that makes zeds attack eachother. To me "element" just means different ways of doing things, more unique stuff instead of guns that just straight up kill stuff.what exactly do you think is meant by "guns with new gameplay elements"?

wow. i am beginning to feel like Roddy Piper in John Carpenter's "They Live".I think the first pack was pretty darn OP, the second pack was partially OP(Orca was okay, ZedThrower was fun but not much use), people complained that the weapons in the third pack were useless (except the harpoon gun <3, and I'm sure people got use out of the ZED MK2), what that says to me, at the very least, is that they were working on it over time.

Of course it's not necessarily that I have the correct idea of the word 'element', but this fundamental difference between us shows that it's at least not as obvious as you believe.

*sigh* I don't get the reference D:wow. i am beginning to feel like Roddy Piper in John Carpenter's "They Live".
perhaps you don't but i bet someone will.*sigh* I don't get the reference D:
Wait charging 3x for the game? What are you talking about? That might be something different. As far as the Ferrari thing, again, this just shows how different people are. You really think this is going to make bank for everyone at TW? TW isn't a big company, they already aren't rolling in money, they aren't going to go from their current state to solid gold toilets.perhaps you don't but i bet someone will.
it makes me kind of sick to my stomach that you guys pretend that they are charging 3X for this game only so they can keep the lights on down at tripwire studios so the programmers don't have to work in the dark when it's much more likely that when this thing takes hold, every employee at tripwire is going to be driving a Ferrari.
i guess you guys must be among them, no one could be as blind as you are pretending to be.
enjoy your new Ferrari, sir.Wait charging 3x for the game? What are you talking about? That might be something different. As far as the Ferrari thing, again, this just shows how different people are. As far as the whole "everyone who disagrees with me is pretending" thing, well
I don't know what to tell you, that's not an argument.
enjoy your new Ferrari, sir.
