Support and commando are my two favorite classes. I do play sharp on the beta sometimes since it is no longer OP. I just enjoy killing stuff with shotguns, and it also gives me the excuse to use my 9mm a lot. For commando, it is my favorite class and the one I am best with.

We all knew that when we saw your signature :D

I have always been a fan of assault rifles. I don't why I tend to gravitate towards the, but I just do. For that reason, I took a quick liking to the Commando for his proficiency with assault rifles, his ability to see cloaked enemies, and his ability to see enemy health bars.

Though he was a real pain to level up (why do I need to kill stalkers? A commando's only relationship to them is that he can see them.), it was the perk I maxed out (and, so far, the only one).

My second favorite perk would have to be the Medic. I enjoy just sitting back and keeping the team in tip top shape (health-wise) while dealing with the lesser threats. I also enjoy running around like berserker and trying to salvage a game when the rest of the team has died (shame that that's coming to an end with the re-balancing),even though I usually fail and get a game over.

Third is Sharpshooter. I love being able to pull off Headshot kills with (relative) ease compared to the other perks and doing it with a handcannon (or dual handcannons).

Guys, you're doing it wrong.

Demolitions is obviously the best choice.

Why?

I pretty much always play zerker, but switch around to Medic/Firebug/Demolitions when the need is there.

I would have to say medic. (in the current version)
To me, nothing feels better than hearing someone say, "you saved my a$$" or "This medics awesome." Fav thing to do when I see that a Scrake or Fleshpound is going to break the defense line, I'll jump in front of it, duck, face the team and heal them as I'm getting the back of my head shredded. Body blocking if you will. Have had so many moments where if I didn't do so the team would whipe.

Pre-Heavy Metal content, it was Zerker. (me can't wait for my annoying 2 cycle engines triumphant return)

Sometimes people gets annoying because you block them while trying to save'em with your syrings...

Thats why I duck, and if they are ducking then I just don't do it. Body blocking can be very very useful if done correctly. Not to say I don't see your point, I totally do, because I've had people get pissed at me for doing it. But with a bit of practice and good assumptions of what the person is going to do in the case of a raging FP or Scrake, (which happens to be more often then not, them standing up and back pedaling) a well timed body block, while crouching, can pin a Fleshy or Scrake to a wall thus giving that Sharpie a needed second chance. I can't count on my hands and toes how many times I've saved people by doing this.

Like I said though, you have a very valid point too sir.

Support is my fave perk. First I got to lvl 6 and my most played by far. I play it as a support role. You can't reload fast but you pack a punch. So stay back, wait for things to get heavy and then wade in and clear it all up. Or just wait for an FP or skrake to show up and run in with the AA12 blazing.

Also because of the huge carry weight you can load up on so many weapons. AA12, m79 and dual Deagles with pipe bombs is a personal fave. Means I can stay back and lob nades, or wade in up close with AA12 or just headshot anything with the akimbo handcannons. Best of all when someone new joins you always have a spare weapon or two you can donate.

I do most of my healing as support as well. As I'm standing around waiting for problems to arise to deal with I will keep topping up my team mates.

I need to play medic more, it really improves the game when there is a decent medic about (currently a lvl 5). But I found too often in the past that the team worked better with me on the offence, as people weren't getting the job done. I will try it again though.

Recently I decided to try sharp shooter propelry and worked up to lvl 6 far too quickly. It is a devastating class and can be very entertaining, but does often feel just too over powered. When using M14 I don't even get around to using my handcannons...

Lastly the only other class I've really spent time playing and enjoying is the Commando. On lvl 4 at present and with each level it becomes more and more fun. It is a class that works only as part of a team, they can't take down the biggest enemies alone (unless you use pipe bombs) but they provide a great assett to the team as a whole by picking off all the sneaky critters and tracking anything cloaked.
