Whats your favorite weapon in RO and why?

I like the M38, because its a bolt, and becuase it has no bayonet, you are more likely to hit the person with the gun. The gun is also accurate, and looks better than other rifles, plus its lighter than other rifles. The gun is so quick and accurate, not even SMGs can win in close range (hipshot FTW!), and Semi Autos are hopeless at any distance.

My other favorite is the STG44. I say its the best gun in the entire game, because its almost as accurate as a rifle, and looks awesome, and with 30 ammo, you can do alot of damage before you reload. Its also the first Assault Rifle ever made.

Right now its a toss between the german MGs and the kar98

though my favorite pistol is the tt33

Depends on the map but generally I find any of the semi-autos to be the best, simply because they offer a good balance.

TT33, my favorite pistol also.(3rd fav gun). Not the prettiest gun and accuracy may be crap, but the thing packs a massive punch, (1 shot kill!) and the gun sounds very powerful. The only reason why I pick Anti-tank soldier class in Hedgehog is to use that pistol! Not even German SMG's stand a chance to the gun's stopping power in close range.

Close range - PPD, Long range - either default bolt. Don't like the semi's because they are too inaccurate (except for the g41)

I like the challenge of the bolt though so I usually take that and practice at all ranges - its great up close with hip shots and stabbings (against 1 enemy) and the best for longer range too

STG44 is probably the best all around weapon, but for longer ranges I love my MN 91/30. For close ranges I'll stick with PPS43 or MP40.

K98 or StG. 44 if I feel like it and it's available on the map... Perhaps with the MG adjustments in the patch my favourite gun will sway to the side of the German MGs

Favorite pick-up - Russian weapon : PPSH-41

i generally only pick up weapons if i'm a rifleman

G41 is my favorit Semi... its just nice looking, nice sounds, nice slow reload...

So ya... STG is my fav

I pick up ANY ennemy weapon that is on the ground...

As for why: You get the long-range accuracy comparable to a bolt action, with 10 rounds of emergency panic.
