Well, as a commando, I like to take the Bullpup and SCAR. When I'm not playing so seriously I take AK-47 and a shotgun, powered by commando's reload speed bonuses.

As support, it's Pumpy + AA12 all the way. A handcannon would be nice to take with me. :IS2:

As medic, I'll take anything depending on the map. Medics are great at multiclassing. They can be Demic, Zerdic, Firebic, Commandic, Suppic and Dickshooter. :)

...why would you need both a katana and an axe? Does the latter really do that much more damage?

EDIT: Oh, and my serious answer to OP:

Sharpshooter: 9m and bow.
Berserker: 9m Winch and sword.
Commando: SCAR and rambo wits to look for ammo during the wave, or failing that AK.
Medic: MP7 and sword.
Firebug, Support Specialist, Demo: Escape key and mouse to click on another perk

I've actually done this too. The Katana is excellent for dealing with small zeds quickly, while the Axe is MUCH more effective on the big guys.

...and yes, the Axe's alt-attack does quite a bit more single strike headshot damage (perfect for Scrakes and FP's).

I only play Support or Sharpshooter, so:

Support : Hunting Shotgun, Shotgun / AK47.

SharpShooter : Winchester, Dual HC, Dual 9MM (If it's possible to carry, not sure since I have not played in a while.)

In order my most played perks to my less played.

Commando: Scar + Ak. (katana is useless most of the time and just slowdown me)

Support Specialist: Pump Shotgun as main weapon + Hunting Shotgun then AA12 Shotgun to replace it later
& for Patriarch AA12 + Hunting Shotgun (which is my most used perk/weapons for patriarch).

Berserker: Katana + Lever Action Rifle (cannot play this class without it)

Demo: Both launchers, pipes (over secondary ammo) and knife for single target.

Medic: MP7 + Xbow.

Sharpshooter: Single 9mm as main weapon, Dual HC + Xbow.

Firebug: Flamer + Single HC.

Exactly. On a suicidal 5 man team as level 6 zerker it takes 2 power swings to the head to kill a scake with the axe. The first hit makes him put his head down so you won't get hurt and it gives you time to kill the small stuff around him before you go in for the finishing blow.

SS : xbow+dual HCs. Sometimes M14+Scar when playing with horrible teammates on suicidal which doesn't happen often coz most that i've played with can handle themselves and their job (yes, even people below lvl 5).

mando: Scar + Ak

Support: usually pump action + hunting shotgun, and when i DO get an aa12 which is not very often usually on scenarios like when i play as a sharpshooter, its usually paired with the Hunting shotgun. i <3 HS :)

Demo : LAW + pipe hats :D

firebug: flamer+ ( dual HCs/m79<---depends on the map ) , crowd control needed then m79, if not then Dual Hcs.

Zerk: Chainsaw :p

medic: mp7. i dont kill with a medic  but for o-**** situations for both my team and i, xbow or m32 depending on the map. Not a fan of Zerdic :p

Normal difficulty

Support Specialist (lvl 6) : LAW + Shotgun (optional) + Pipes + grenades

Sharpshooter: Xbow + 1HC (i like HC ironsight, at the beginning i didnt like it very much, but then when i starded to use it more i started to like it very very very much)

Medic: MP7M + Hunting shotgun + Pipes
MP7M + M79 + Pipes

Commando: Scar + AK47 + grenades

Firebug: Flamethrower + MP7M + Pipes + grenades (starting wave 1. as a Medic)
Flamethrower + Double HC

Demolition: Havent play much but i like LAW

Berserker: Havent play much but i like Chainsaw and Axe

I always try to carry pipes when possible, normally i drop em only when Scrake of FP in sights and if theres no pipes on the ground anymore, so im saving em for those situations. Or i drop only 1 and then look for ammo crates to get perhaps 1 more.

Im looking forward to play as those perks and guns i havent play a lot. I like all of the guns in KF. Such a great game.

Hard difficulty

Support Specialist: Hunting shotgun + Shotgun + Pipes + grenades

Sharpshooter: Xbow + 1 HC + grenades

Commando: Scar + AK47 + grenades

Patty

Max gun of the Perk. I usually use a perk which needs experience.

I used to really like Firebug: Flamethrower + Handcannon, but only because 500 HC was cheaper than 1000 katana. But HC wouldn't help me with Scrakes, not enough anyway.

Now I'll go Berserker for Wave 1, then buy my Katana before switching to Firebug (and then buying flamthrower of course).
I can now handle Scrakes, Husk fireballs won't hurt me, and by the time FP's show up I'll be able to afford 800 for pipe bombs.

Edit: This is also a convenient work-around until TWI fixes firebugs spawning without their armor, since Berserker still does.

I just pick whatever I feel like using. Sometimes even stuff not in the Perk. Granted, it doesn't always end well.
