I had given up TBH but after a Format...........much needed before i go back to UNI, it appears all is well.
I suggest that other players with a simular problem simply uninstall an reinstall the game. Failling that, go the whole hog like i had to maybe that is the only way.
Fingers crossed 2 days and NO problems.......................lets get it on =IcM= are out there WAITING!

You still have Norton? Jesus CHRIST norton has giving me probs in the past, til the day I smashed the disc and got NOD32 wich is pure pwnage.

+1, when I uninstalled Norton, a LOT (like 90%+) of my computer problems disappeared.

I've had other people who were having problems with various games, asked if they ran Norton, usually they did, I told 'em to turn it off at least, uninstall at best, and fixed their problems.

If you must have AV protection (and most people do want it ) get AVG free if you don't want to have to 'justify' buying a new program when you have a copy of Norton. If you want the firewall there are plenty of better programs out there than Norton IS.
