Sometimes at the end of a round regardless of which team I'm on, I fail to spawn with the rest of my team and I'm usually forced to wait two whole spawn cycles before I can spawn. Fix this.

I had a similar problem when I picked MG or marksman that I would die and someone else would take over my "spot" when I was dead, and I couldnt spawn, so I had to pick another class to spawn...
Same with me. I'm usually unable to spawn in the beginning of rounds too. First I thought it had to do with somebody taking my class (and this is the case sometimes - thanks for warning me btw), but even when I'm taking the rifle dude I usually end up without spawning in the beginning.
This occasionally is caused by someone selecting your slot and booting you.

I had this happen last night and and was only able to be force respawned back into the game. Each time I was killed I had to wait for a forced spawn.
Thats a solution yes but its not right at all that this kind of bug is still in the game.If you can't spawn, simply reselect your class and you will spawn

Which I normally would do ... However last night I could not get to the menu to do that.
Here's what happened : End of first round I recieve a promotion from the Axis side (I was Allies) I hit accept , clicked the same class I had and spawned (Allies). When I died, I could not respawn or bring the menu for that at all. I spawned only on the called forcespawns.

I see, so what do you suggest? More repetitive whining and stating the bleeding obvious? Or shall we try and help those who have issues?

Have you made a bug report to the devs and included your .dmp and dxdiag files?
How about giving more details about the bugs instead, like this one? Its the bug section after all. Not the support section. Obvious.

Will be doing that today. After much investigating on the forums and tweaking, I have found that my MB is defective. I'm replacing that today and if it happens again I'll post them. It may have been an issue on my side. I'll usually grab the bull by the horns and troubleshoot everything on my side and scour the forums for info.
I have had this problem, at first I also felt it was because someone had taken my slot but it has nothing to do with someone else taking slots at all, it is a definite bug in the game.
It can happen at the start of the round or upon a respawn, I go on our servers a lot and generally the first in to get the server started, and even when I am the only person on the server this happens, you can reselect your class and it will respawn on the next wave (you can also select another class and this will also get you back into the game) if you do nothing you just hover in space forever.
This is a major issue really, how can we arrange clan matches, especially in a game like CD when you cannot be sure all your players will actually spawn, a defending team is screwed because no respawn until round ends, and an attacking team has to lose one of its two valuable respwans just to get all the team in the match, needs fixing
