After latest patch I was able to set everything on max, even anti alasing. Everything runs very very smooth. They said they did optimize, for my rig it works beautifully. I got i7-950, 6 RAM, Nvidia 460-2gigs. It is about 2 years old and works very well. When you set particle to "war movie" option I got amazed how detailed everythign was. I also play on 64-player maps- same result.

So wait, "very very smooth" is now 30fps on 800x600?

Any similar reports from AMD(MAD) users?

Haven't been able to play for a week, I hope it's gotten better for us too.

So far my FPS has been on a constant roller coaster ride with my 1075T and 6850.

ro2 is like source engine in a way... it runs like crap at low settings/medium because your card is rendering stuff to fast and the engine is not keeping up.

once you put on Ultra settings and make the card work more rendering more detail, i noticed the same, my FPS is much better. others report the same.

I don't know if any patch did anything, but after I installed the ATI crossfire CAP5 profile, my fps was boosted by a ton

basically now i'm playing on:
Ultra settings
Low AA
1920x1080 res.

so basically almost maxed
with 40+fps

AMD 965 x4 + 4GB 1066mhz DDR2 ram + ATi 5770 x2 CF

Graphics doesn't affect lag.
He is talking about graphical lag, not network lag (for what it was used "back in the days" ;)).
I know, it is a "stupid" (no disrespect meant) way to call performance drops regarding fps, but in the last years they came up with using the word lag to describe it. :)

Graphics doesn't affect lag.

There is a thing called: Graphical Lag
and there is another thing called: Internet lag

Both are lags but different, you should understand which it is when they talking about graphical settings...
