Everyone gets promoted to admin

So I threw up a server earlier and for some reason everyone (but me) joined in as admins. I could admin myself through the console, but I'm wondering why and how everyone else became admins automatically?

I can't find anything in the WebAdmin interface to change this and I'm 98% sure I didn't activate something weird in an .ini file.

This happened both when it was a password protected server and when it was open.

I have been searching on this issue myself, but for the opposite problem.

I am the main admin on our KF1 and KF2 servers with the assistance of three other Geezers. I have MultiAdmin working and have all of us listed individually as well as the generic Admin login.

Our problem is.............. NONE of us show up as Admin in WebAdmin or in game!??

When the server was password protected, did you use the same password for admin as you did for the actual server game password? If you type the admin password into the password field when joining a server, you will login to the server as an administrator.

I did, since I was just testing stuff and changed it to something simple and just used the same for the server. But that doesn't explain why people still got admin status after I got rid of the password. =/

But I changed so they are different and from testing now that seems to have done the trick.

If you want to login as admin in-game, hit F3 or ~ key and type in adminlogin <password>

I know but then I'd have to enter the server first, would be easier if there was a way to just open the password box before/while entering the server

If you created something for it sure. As far as I know, no functionality within the game offers that.
