EVENT: classic cauntdown on custom maps

There are a lot of new CD maps, I've even seen classic server with custom maps, however noone plays them because:
1. Hardly any players for countdown.
2. Hardly any players for classic.
3. Round will end before you are able to download map.
It's a pity because those maps are really good.

What I suggest:
I know there are enough countdown lovers who just cannot be on the same server on the same time, so let's gather with pre-downloaded maps. I'm not sure if steam workshop is fixed to download maps from there, is it?
I can either look for that particular serve or maybe an admin will provide us one.

What do you say?

Im not sure what the current status of the workshop is but I have had much more success with the custom maps by simply downloading them from the redirects found in the
Beta map Releases thread
No dl waits when maps load saves valuable playing time!

The {sBc} would support such an event as we LOVE CD! ...and custom maps

We have a similar event in our weekly Bloodbath in which we mainly play CD along with custom TE matches.I encourage events like this its a great way to bring the community together.In time you will get regular players that show up and some awesome! battles.

Like I said we would help populate such an event.These type of events are a great break from your average public play.

I'm in as long as it's not in the middle of the night CET. Classic and CD is my preferred combo.

OK then, I've found classic cauntdown server, it's the only one hosting custom maps (thank you pzdf). Not sure about the map list, but it does have bridges.

I'll place serve IP and direct links to maps I find at these forums into the first post.

Time zones are our #1 enemy, I live in Siberia and it means I'm as far from you as I possible could in terms of time.

I failed. That server is mix cd/te, not just cd.
