This game is chock full of hackers. I don't know if the fault rests primarily with the players, the admins or the developers. I'd settle to evenly distribute the blame.

Or you could just be a wee bit paranoid and/or talking bollocks.

Hackers exist in the game, but chock full of hackers it isn't.

As regards discovering that "random bombardment" mortars are actually hackers comment :

There is a very simple reason why you can be hit very effectively at range by a mortar.

Hold T. It gives you a very good range measure to capzones and ammodumps from your position, add 20-30m to this range and use indirect fire.

Wait until the capzone is being contested. You then have the range and the enemy position.

There is also a thing called a map. Recon shows the exposed enemy positions on this as do your teammates spotting enemies using the Z key. These also can be used with T to get enemy position and range.

When you stay near an ammodump, you can resupply and barrage very effectively in this way.

Try it yourself and you will find that the "hackers" are not actually hacking.
It probably looks like it from a spectator point of view but you aren't seeing the whole picture, map use etc.

Mortars are overpowered in the game, I'm not going to argue otherwise as it is a given. But don't yell "hacks" when there is a good explanation for what you are seeing.

As one side screams mortar noob, the other screams flamer noob. Play both factions and you learn to deal with it.

Just spectated a game on 2.FJg's RS server to see for myself, and I have to say, although I am not convinced that hacking is absolutely rampant, even on servers without PB, I am far less skeptical than I was before.

Even from just spending a single round on Kwajalein spectating one of the kneemortars on the Japan team, whose name was on the list Jinnobi posted in that other thread, I saw multiple pentakills with mortars and 100-200m headshots with the M1 Carbine on moving or concealed targets. However, there was nothing that was completely unexplainable by anything but hacks, and most of the time, he just seemed like an average player. Ultimately though, he ended up leaving the match halfway through with twice the kills and points of anyone else.

So while I'm not 100% convinced he was hacking, I am pretty damn suspicious.
