Whenever i try to select something in the RO:ED it doesn't select it. I click it, but it doesn't do anything. Any ideas?

I think you have extracted the SDK wrong, you must remember the .ifk file cannot be in the same directory as the .pft file, or it just clashes with the conflicting systems.

Try turning off anti-aliasing in the ATI app, like UncleDrax was hinting.

Also: Try pressing "S". That's a toggle for showing/unshowing the green highlight of whatever you have selected.

For instance, if you have a building selected and are moving it around trying to find a place for it, it appears green and stands out. You can press "S" to turn off the green highlight so you can see if it looks good with its natural colors. Then press "S" again to turn the highlight back on.
