I would believe they have the same thing as in RO1 where maps have various seasons (summer winter spring and autumn) which changes how long it takes for MG's to overheat. There are a few threads about here talking about jamming and such and I generally think the community is against the idea.

Of course they are against it, they want to pick and choose their realism. (Not that I'm on either side, but I am getting fairly tired of "This is realistic, it has to be in. THIS on the other hand 'I' don't 'think' is realistic so remove it.")

On to the OP: Good idea. Would add more depth to the game play, and I don't know if it has been addressed but there is the upgrade for the Kar98 that would allow the use of gloves while firing. Would be a superb unlock on the colder maps.

I remember TWI said something like this was implemented during an early interview.

is this yet another feature that was silently abandoned? *cough* weapon collision *cough*!

Yes in earlier interviews that mentioned that the weapon can not work, but it was never implemented.
About the fact that no one will play: Will play hardcore hardcore players, because the same people playing on the FK server with realism modus ... The more so because such a thing can always be configured separately taken by the server

I concur. What aggravates me is just that. Picking and choosing realism, and stamping it overall more realistic because the chosen realism is what they like.

I like how FK server's set up. But I don't think I liked the FK squad members. They were very obnoxious. Or was it FKers or something? There may be two different clans
