I was the mod leader of this project and the creator of it. It got hit hard by un-dedicated people, stealing, lost work, etc. I still don't give up. It's too big of a task to handle on my own and I honestly believe if TripWire put their hands on it as a next gen console release, it'd sell.... it'd sell out! lol.

Click for details about game or read at bottom, quotes describing game, features, etc.

It's always been my dream but if I could even pray that TripWire would even be interested. I'd help in every single way possible. I loved RO, beyond belief.... I just never figured they'd go for such a gritty, dark shooter with a heavy story base and intuitive gameplay/features. Now I know TriPWire can handle it all just didnt think they would handle such a dark, gritty tale.

Then I heard a while back they were re-making Killing Floor and thats when I became interested. After see what it's turned into, all I can hope for is they could be interested, lol.

==============><><><><><><=======================
The Story::
The game is set in modern day Chicago.
The END USER plays John Ashton, the main character, and also the role of Marcus Rolland (John's long time friend & partner).
John is a middle-aged (40 years old) Detective on the Chicago Police Department, he's always been known and has a high profile for being one of the best detectives on the force. He's gone by the book for his whole life, had the perfect life : nice house, a dog, wife, and 12 year old son. He was married to his wife for 22 years. High school lovers who got married at 18. He's now 40. John was catching up on a case about a local murder of a government official, which was related to several other murders within the city. John starts getting closer and closer to closing the case. Then one night he get's a call from a fellow detective saying he needs to come down and look at this body that just popped up on the shores of Lake Michigan. While he's on his way to the newly discovered body his wife and only son were dragged out of their beds and put in the living room. He recieves a call on his cell phone from home, thinkin it's his wife, he answers. "John" his wife says in a paniced voice, "What's wrong?" he asks, and then he hears her screaming NO! and his son screaming and the next thing he hears is two gun shots, he swings his car around and heads home as fast as he can only to find his wife and son slain in the living room.
You must play as John and work your way into solving the case and also play as his long time friend and partner Marcus and investigate the case the normal way a police detective would.
When you play as John Ashton it's all about kicking *** and taking names later. Non-stop action and violence whereas when you play as his long-time partner Marcus, it's all about solving puzzles and investigating. You can even pull out your badge and identify yourself as a cop and interrogate people on the street. If you want to take them downtown and interrogate them. YOU CAN! You'll play a mini-game to determine how well you interrogate the given suspect.
==============><><><><><><=======================
The Features::
Viewing Aware Environment - The A.I. knows what and where you're looking at in correspondence with your screen.
I.E. / Example - If there's a female character you're talking to or following they will know AND react if you stare at say their backside and/or chest, etc.
OR if you objective is to find X where X is a tool or object you only have a limited knowledge of and don't know exactly what it looks like, if it comes into your F.O.V. (Field Of View) the A.I. can warn/tell/advise you of it.
Interrogation - The user can flash their badge to anyone in the game to alert them they are police. The user can interrogate civilians and/or suspects on the street. If they feel the need the user can take that person downtown for a full interrogation in an actual interrogation room. The user will play some sort of implemented mini-game to adjust how well their interrogation will go and how much information they will receive.
Drug Use - Since the game is more of a dark, twisted, gritty tale the user can use drugs. Main concept is marijuana. User can find rolling papers, blunt shells/wraps, marijuana, and rolling machines. Also purchasable in-game? When the user uses marijuana it will make an instant effect in the game and you will notice your player is high. It will also at the same time fill a meter of slow-motion time that the user can then turn on or off at their discretion.

Sounds more like a flash game idea then anything.

Lol the ESRB has rating your game? You must be a super serious game company!

Wow reskinned props with a new red coat of paint. This game has potential!

What a joke.

If a mod falls apart even before getting past Beta, no company will risk the capital to try and make it into a full-fledged game.

Thats what they said about KF too...:p
:D

Requirement for being promptly picked up by a big-ticket company for a million billion dollars as a mod:

You have to be willing to flame and never concede defeat to having a ****ty mod, and your ratings will skyrocket as people line up to see your flinging **** around the cage.

Shamelessly ripped from ZP.

I ready through the moddb mod profile 3 times now and I cant tell if hes trolling or not. Either way it's some funny stuff.

Nothing is darker, grittier and more twisted then smoking a joint.

I, for one, can't wait to play this Joint Rolling Simulator.

It would be even better than the Real-time Bear Attack Simulator.

That installer screenshot took my soul away . . .

I believe TWI's policy about adopting mods are "Solid gameplay or GTFO".
