Good morning/afternoon/evening,

I've been playing Killing Floor for a while now, and I've looked litterally everywhere to find an Infinite Wave mod, with each wave getting harder and harder.

I came across this perfect mod : http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=84195

With a little extra : different modes (Timed waves - Works like the beta 1 survival, waves are timed so you don't have to kill all zeds to end wave. Hardcore gamemode with zeds that keep spawning during the trader time)

Unfortunately, the mod seems to be broken, once installed, zeds do not spawn. :/

This is why I'm here. I do not know a thing about by modding, and am seeking for help. Can someone either fix the mod already created, to make it work in game, or write a new mod to fit the one broken please?

I'm aware it must be far from simple, I'm just throwing a stone in a wide sea, just hoping someone with sufficient knowledge and comprehension will be willing to help me out.

Or just wait because the Devs already posted about an Endless Mode and whether it would be desirable. The poll seemed to be a resounding 'Yes, please!' - so I imagine it is already in the works. Patience my dear friends, patience is the game when it comes to Early Access titles.

Thank you so much for your reply, didn't think anyone would answer on a Killing Floor forum!

However, the solution you provided doesn't work ! :/ I've downloaded the link you gave me, installed the files in the "System" folder, ran the Endless wave mod and the mutator, the zeds still don't spawn... ><
Any idea why

Nooby fix to original mutator - KFSurvivalFix. Default zeds spawn as usual, but im not sure how it will react to fpchaingunner. Test and reply if you find any errors.

However, the same error that happened with DMN666's fix, is happening with yours NikC- :/ Zeds don't appear, after activating the Endless mode and the KFSurvivalFix.

Am I doing something wrong? I simply downloaded, unrared, and installed the 3 files in the System folder of Killing Floor 1.

I don't understand ><

Sorry for a late reply.
Start your game with the game mode and one of the mutators.
When your game starts, alt/tab out and go into your systems folder and open KillingFloor.log (any type base program will work).
Scroll until you find the errors.

I will see if i can check it for myself.

I highly doubt Marco will fix anything up like this since it's a rarely used mod anyway. Personally it was fun but needed more balancing to keep it fun instead of people spamming out specific maps to play it for so many boring waves lol.

Personally, just play it as having that OPness may make it interesting. Been too long since I touched it but it was really fun. If it comes to it, I guess I could look into it and maybe get a fixed version if the zeds aren't appearing. It would probably be a bug within the zeds looking at a wrong versions.

Have you checked if they spawn but are invisible? It's another possibility.

- DMN666 : I did just what you told me. I get a couple of errors so I'll just post all of them.

If you are playing is solo - uninstall original mutator, because i didn't change ingame name (FallbackName="KF Survival Endless") in my fix. If your are playing on dedicated mutator - Game=KFSurvivalFix.KFSurvival.
Btw this gametype uses shade in addition to fp chain gunner. They both are broken on 1064 patch. Better contact Marco and ask to make a new, fully working version.
- NikC : I'm creating a listen server everytime to play with a couple of friends. Both options don't work. I just don't understand.

I checked, zeds just don't appear. I stand still for 5 minutes, I'm not harmed, I don't hear zed sounds, they just don't spawn.

Did you Uninstall the original?
Well i just changed mutator's ingame name to "some lazy gametype". Grab it (source files included). Tested on solo, dedi, listen.
It worked! Now just a question, I've installed the KFSurvival.zip, which added the "Some lazy gametype" option in the "Type of Game" window. I now have
- Normal KF
- Mission
- Endless (the first one that was broken, and that got the topic started)
- Some Lazy GameType (which is the one i ran, and worked)

Because it worked, does that mean i won't need any mutator?

(And say, if I wanted to try another mode from the original Endless gamemode, like the hardcore one [zeds keep spawning during shop time], how could I make that happen?)
