End game Cash Bonus

Modify the reward for wave end money.

in the end of each wave you get a small cash reward for finnishing the wave right.

Idea is, change the money reward based on the time you reach inside the trader shop. which means there will be less time to scavange after guns in the "buy periode" because you have to be at trader at end of wave to maximize income.

Example:
You get inside the trader and the:
Clock says 50sec - you get 500cash
clock says 45sec - you get 450cash
clock says 30sec - you get 300cash

this mean that you cant plan the shopping while running to the trader. you have to plan what to buy. when you reach inside the shop, when you know how much cash you got. which means bit bigger difficulties for "pro" ppl that know the price list in and out! :D

Nah, I don't think so personally. You don't want to take away people's hard-earned bonuses just because they e.g. got blocked at the trader door and you don't want to discourage them from searching the map for ammo and stuff. When I'm in a camping place at the end of the wave, I get my endwave bonus and I find myself reinforcing doors in said camping area before running to the trader. Here, I'm doing a little bit of helpful work, and I don't want to lose my money because of it.

Nah, I don't think so personally. You don't want to take away people's hard-earned bonuses just because they e.g. got blocked at the trader door and you don't want to discourage them from searching the map for ammo and stuff. but isn't there a mut or mod or whatever you call them that prevent blocking? :)

Yes! But it's never present enough. I think TWI should update the game to include it by default.

Loads of ppl complain it not realistic enough if everyone can go through eachother. but yes, it should be added in the Buy time of the game

Yeah, I mean that it should be added for Trader time, not during a wave. I think that the fact that players can block each other's bodies in combat is one of the critical balance points, when you think about it.

Yes. :p I think the idea for including the trader time anti-block as a default part of the game has been suggested numerous times, anyway.

a small bonus for entering trader within 5 secs of opening would entice players to reach the trader early.

Something like 100-150 ?

How about giving the player 1 pound for each second they took to get to the trader? So, getting in the trader room with 1 second to go (and a 30 second trader time) nets 29 pounds!

That's not too bad when I think about it... A bit differently, though - however many seconds are left on the timer, you get that much money. :IS2:

This doesnt make any sense. Nobody scavenges weapons DURING trader time, they do it BEFORE it by kiting one or few specimens around the map. Or you CAN scavenge during trader time too but on HoE you dont rly have time for that since you also have to get back to your hold out position. On lower difficulties (hard and below) you dont even need to scavenge since you get enough money anyway.

This idea would just be more of an annoyance than anything else.

I usually keep a door trough most Zeds come trough welded and make my teammates run to the Trader. When they are all there I run there and meet up with them. When the last Zeds reach the Trader location we kill em, go to the Trader for our stuff and run back as fast as possible to the hole up spot.

What I also do a lot is when about 10 Zeds are left we run to the Trader and kill em when everybody is at the Trader.



If your suggestion was implemented a lot more dosh could be earned but it in some way would be a "small reward" for running around at the time some Zeds are still alive.

But meh, I would prefer if everyone got like 5k
