Here's a simple suggestion: Make EMP nades disable (kill) Edars.

It's just logical, since EMP does shutdown anything that requires electricity to run.
And since Edars run on batteries, it would make more sense for them to be permanently shutdown because of battery drainage, than be disabled for a couple of seconds.

Makes sense, and such a benefit sounds balanced enough, since EMPs are pretty underwhelming as is, compared to other grenades that stun/freeze big zeds and/or kill a decent group of trash zeds.

I was thinking about the emp grenades and E.D.A.R.s recently. I thought how it would be cool if they temporarily immobilized them for like 10 full seconds. It would be way easier for zerkers to try and hit the weak area if they were more still. I always hate trying to kill them in one shot while they flinch and pivot with every hit and swing. I'm okay with knocking them down but when they're just standing there taking hits, it's easy to get overwhelmed with the zed train close behind.

instant kill seems a bit too powerful. BlueLightning's suggestion of a long duration stun seems balanced. Alternatively the EMP grenade could simply be more powerful against Edars, maybe 4x or 5x damage against them.

How is it too strong when you only have 5 nades to spare?
6 if you have demo in the team.
Not to mention you might use the nade to disable husk that is too close to you or a bloat, so you'd have even less to use on an Edar....

this is such a great idea, for all the complaints about E.D.A.Rs this would be the perfect solution to those pesky robots.
