emissive mask

so i know emissive mask used for husk to make his lights stay lit in the dark areas as slavek said, is there a way to make one for other specimens like for his eyes?

I have this custom clot skin (WIP)

and i want to make emissive mask for so his eyes stay glows :p

You can most likely do this by using self illumination by use of a shader material. :)

explain more please, I just started learning the reskinning stuff a few days ago


EDIT: dont bother yourself, I did it! :D

now I just need to put some pants texture to make him more like zombie and make him have coronas lights on his eyes if that possible XD

In photoshop or gimp you can add corona's to the picture.

the way i would do it

add a flat mesh (3ds max) in front of the eyes then texture it to be the eye glow (this is how i did the mechacarnivore and this is how TW did the lights on the fleshpound)

or

edit the mesh (3ds max) to make the eyes use its own material, then apply the appropriate texture effect to make it glow how you want

all in all i recommend getting
3ds max with actor x import and export
photoshop with dds plugin
umodel (fixed)
