Huuum, how many points would you give? Maybe get a 'supression assist' point, like with the kill assist just without actually hitting them.
Hmmm, tricky. Perhaps for every five seconds of suppression you cause an enemy (doesn't have to be in one go and can be different enemy's) you gain 2 points. This would mean, keeping enemy's suppressed for just 10 seconds (again, can be spread out and between enemy's) could gain you more points than a kill. I doubt it would be possible to exploit this (although, there are always a few) and would make managing ammo consumption a much larger gameplay aspect. Thoughts?
RO2 gonna be 1 more step closer to Battlefield 3 with it.
But I like it.
I don't think that's such a bad thing. I'm really looking forward to Battlefield 3, but the setting and realism/authenticity of RO2 trounces it for me. However, from alpha footage of Battlefield 3, I have seen some pretty intense firefights, with players not even always going for the kill. I loved playing with an lmg on BFB2, but didn't feel the lower accuracy was compensated for, thus, my excitement for BF3.
