I must have missed where having a taste for good games not entirely founded on omegatestosterone was equal to incomprehension?

Ever hear of the concept of something being Tounge-in-Cheek?

Duke 3D was really the first FPS with great character, semi-realistic environments, etc. The BUILD engine doesn't look pretty anymore, and the game is extremely clunky by modern standards, but man, it was fun as hell to play. Freezing some guy then shattering him with your MIGHTY BOOT? Can't beat that.

Oh, and a primitive form of mouselook set it apart from the crowd.
Anyone remember the Quake vs. Duke 3D debate?

Hmmm...Tripwire's been silent for a year about their next project, working endless hours on their "next generation game," and now, just as their time on RO dwindles, this trailer comes out...

More hype, still no evidence of a game, and DNF still stands for "Did Not Finish" :D

Guess again, freakshow. Duke's coming back to town, and the last thing that's gonna go through your mind before you die... is my size 13 boot!

We actually got to see the truth of Duke curator George Broussard's many past claims , including environmental puzzles and interactivity, a host of finished weapons, the existence of an in-game forklift, and plenty of heads and arms being blown off.

OH BOY A FORK LIFT!
