You mean M32 I assume. Imagine a 6-shot revolver, now imagine that instead of bullets you load 40mm grenades. Now just add a forgrip.

He means the H&K Mk23. Chambered for 11.43x23mm, not 40x46mm.

A picture of the Mk23:
Spoiler!

The Mk23 features a 12-round magazine, and is halfway between 9x19mm and 10.9x32mmR as seen in the Handcannon.

Also you misspelt foregrip :p

Aiming isn't the problem. Slow reloads are the problem with duals.

Been pretty long since I last played KF (suprised this thread got necro'd :O)

Just for the sake of a discussion though, how would slow reloads screw on up? I don't think it's THAT slow (looks at LAW >.>), maybe slower than certain weapons...

Also, what small events are likely to occur when playing in a team that would lead to team wipes? If I'm going solo and there are the usual problems, I'd anticipate probably getting swarmed due to the reload speed, or having less of a buffer zone (so to speak).

In usual 6-man's, wouldn't there be others wielding more accurate but less spammable weapons to decap those that one player missed?

know this thread is old, but I wouldn't mind answering it with the updates that passed through ._.

overall, I felt kind of bored, doing the same thing sharpshooters usually do, grabbing a Crossbow, settle in a spot, start sniping everything that looked like a threat. So instead, I thought about: how cool would it be to dual wield pistols and go to town on these freaks? So now my loadout is

-Dual HCs
-Dual 44 Magnum
-Dual MK23

overall, after some practice, I have to say I had a lot of fun with this loadout. Each pistol has its own specialties in each situation, like the Magnums being far more accurate then the MK23, or the HC, while the MK pistol has a huge ammo capacity, and penetration I believe, perfect to go through the weak clots and such while getting multiple headshots. HC is meant for the big dogs, along with the magnum, scoring multiple headshots in a small time frame pretty much kills scrakes before they could even rage (however this is on Normal, I have yet to try this load on Hard). So overall, the only problem I have with the 'gunzerker' gunslinging loadout is remembering to keep the reloads up before facing scrakes (to do a quick change from HC--->Magnum without having small ammunition in the first place), and probably damage overall (then again, 115 damage with 50% increase isn't so bad, along with headshot damage). Overall, it's a nice "dafuq" choice instead of going through your typical sharpshooter loadout.

you can kill a FP with a bullpup on normal, so practically any loadout works.

Thread got necro'd again :p, but I'm not complaining~
Anyway though I don't play KF much, but if anyone still wants to discuss the viability of using multiple duals in a round with whatever perk, then go ahead and discuss! I'll be lurking and watching this topic...."with great interest" :D

I'm not exactly discussing the use of multiple dualies here, but while this thread is bumped...

So, Flare Revolvers...after some quick testing, it looks like the projectiles from dual Flare Revolvers aren't bugged like the other pistols. They seem to fire a little to the left/right of the center and aren't dependent on the direction you're facing. Actually, shooting from the hip with a single Flare Revolver actually fires to the right of the center as well; aiming down the sights will make it shoot in the center.

Also, you can flinch-lock SCs with body shots on perk (tested with L5 FB, no idea how high of a bonus you need). It looks like you need about 2 full magazine clip cylinder ammo thingies to kill one though, and 2x Flares hold 12. However, you can reload safely if you run when crisp-up time kicks in.

As a sharp, I find that taking head shots on SCs don't seem to flinch them most times once the SC closes in; Since the FB can flinch with body shots, I guess there's more damage weighted toward the fire than the impact? I wondered if it was the crisp-up time that was interfering with the flinch-lock, so I tried raging it with another weapon before using the Flare. I managed to get a few Flare headshots to flinch the SC before it started to "ignore" it.
