To my knowledge the drop rate is working as intended. The team will be tweaking and changing it as things move forward and we receive feedback on the system.
On top of it all, I do not think this is a rewarding enough system if this works as intended, why have it, if you cannot get a item now and then (Read: 1-3 games). Not everyone play alot of hours at a time, and I am pretty sure they'll play less if they never get anything.
I hope it's bugged, since this is underwhelming and disappointing.
If what people are saying is true about the really low drop rates (I don't play very often), then I do agree it needs to be upped significantly.
Is not receiving dropped items into our inventories working as intended? Are you able to confirm if that problem has been fixed with the latest patch? There are plenty of people reporting the problem (including myself), but so far I haven't seen any feedback from TI about it.
Thanks.

We are looking into reports that people are still seeing phantom drops.
I don't understand how that's possible. I haven't gotten one drop since the update and I've played quite a lot.
Playing a quick 4-wave solo game on normal seems to trigger a drop after playing loads of games. My friend just did this and got his first drop. I did the same on Saturday. So Id suggest this, until they decide to tweak their algorithm.
Killing Floor 2 is f2p this weekend, so the free loaders can flood the market with items to really milk the owners of the game.
"Working as intended" indeed.
Man, I wouldn't even mind a phantom drop at this point.
Nothing since the update, and I've played at *least* a couple matches every day.
