Went into long hard offline to test new perk, died on wave 8, got a hat skin.
Then played about 4 online hard matches, 2 won, 2 lost, got nothing :IS2:

I've had a drop every game I played online today (Like 4?) But they were all that brown hat

Sorry if the question has been asked somewhere, but I looked at the changelogs as well as did some searching, but I can't seem to find any info on this subject, what are the drops exactly, I see they are skins, but are the just clothing skins or are they also weapon/character skins?

Flatcap brown?

Yeah I got that twice last night. Once after my first game and then another like three hours later or something.

My buddy has played his slinger to level 5 and nothing dropped for him yet.

Did some more testing I have come to these conclusions.

The drop rate is not based on RNG. It's based on accumulated victory. That is why most people got a 1 drop on their first solo run. That's because almost everyone won at least once before this patch against the boss.

The reason you get this 1 drop on first solo run and rarely on mp runs, is because the server is only capable of giving drops to 1 person per team per game.

Since the drops runs off accumulated victory, your first drop doesn't require you to win. You can simply play wave 1 on any difficulty and any wavelength and get your first drop assuming you hit the necessary accumulated victory already from previous times.

What the total accumulated victory is per drop is anybody's guess at this point. I'll do some more tinkering and see what I can dig up.

Yesterday
1 game on Normal. 7 waves.
3 ppl. Win.
1 drop for my friend.

Today
9 games. 6 on Normal. 3 on Hard. (7 after the patch)
1 game 5 players. others 6.
8 wins. 1 defeat.
None of my friends in those games varied from 1 to all received a drop. Cant tell about other ppl.

About 4 hrs in total I guess.
No drops for me.

I played 4 full matches in solo and got nothing at all... I may be extremely unlucky,or maybe you have to confirm something? I often quit the game right after I beat the boss ,so maybe you have to wait to get your loot?

Is there confirmed actual data behind literally any of this or is everyone just guessing?

I havn't got a drop at all. I was thinking though I have been playing on a dedicated LAN server which I hadn't port forwarded and maybe the server needs to connect to an item server to get drops. So I port forwarded it now. Will try tomorrow and see if drops start happening.

It's hard to imagine that there is even **** to get since I haven't seen ANYTHING since the patch released.

I had like 8 or 9 multiplayer games with friends(3) (loses and wins). No drops for anybody. After that I've started a short game solo and got my dark purple - headband at the end of that game (win).

Now we all know that the drops were buged for multiplayer games. Yesterday (installed hotfix 1016) we played again and I got a drop in a 6 man mp-game, none of my friends. But!!! It was again the same headband, same color! What I've read in this thread, I'm not alone with multiple drops of the same item (bug?!). And the same items don't stock!

It seems to be based on total number of hours played. So after x amount of hours you are likely to get a drop.

It would be great if Tripwire simply told people how it works. Maybe they're worried the game will turn into nothing more than a commodities trading program, associated with shameful price gouging. In which case they don't need to worry, that appears to have already happened.

Lol we are way past the point of return now, the market just needs some time until crates become super cheap and precious items become super expensive.

I doubt that... the vast majority of the ppl I play with over last two days have not gotten any drop. Thats at least 8+ hrs. And around 16 maps. 10 at least of which were wins.

I looted three White Flatcap today, but items doesn't stack and I lost the others two :(

I keep getting this (Along with the Woodland Scar) and it doesn't appear in my inventory at all. I also don't see any copies of the Woodland Scar for me to put up for sale when I get more and more.
