Drop Rate Speculation

Could be an id, could be a number, and said number could mean anything from milliseconds to minutes. Definitely doesn't seem like 15 minutes but 250 hours seems way to much. Who knows, it could have been put there just to **** with data mining efforts.

Finally got "a drop" today, and guess what, well it was a crate (or "usb drive" as they call them around here), wasn't it.

Then I checked the market and people had sold them for $10 last week.

Well... all I can say is **** this system and **** the buggy patch only enabling people to receive drops on solo while I played online the entire week.

That's about it. Listed for $.99 to never sell.

I got a drop RIGHT after the 1019 in Multi, nothing after that ... this morning for fun I started a Solo game. Killed 5 Zeds and went and brushed my teeth. When I came back I was dead, but got a USB drop =/

Did you play yesterday? They seem to be weekly drops resetting every Thursday. I got one yesterday in multiplayer.

Pretty much happened to me. Got a green/yellow ski mask on first game of 1019. Then nothing till I solo'd on norm, 4wave.

So what youre saying is that I shouldnt even bother playing the game except once every Thursday evening!?!!

I played my first normal game (stuck with solo at the moment until I can delegate my data usage and find some spare for games) and died a few waves in (I was rusty!) got myself a "battle-scarred woodland SCAR". Other than that, nothing.

No idea what the drop rates are for solo but it's all I have for now so I'll make do.

Question: Does anyone know when the gas masks and welding mask will make an appearance? I'd love me some more firebug headgear!

And fuel tanks/accessories while I'm on the topic. Like that EMT backpack in the workshop, perk-based accessories would be great!

Noticed after not playing for about a week and then playing for a hour or so straight got 1 drop in the first match (Blackforest, Hard, Gunslinger, Killed Patty, Won) but nothing after that with varying degrees of success.

It's looking more and more like 1 item per week which if it's true sucks.

Yeah I have to say, being someone who is open to drop systems and such, that frequency is important. Not being frequent that is, but it's important to have the right frequency.

For example, CSGO is too low-frequency. Sure, you have the good feeling when you do get something but it's more often than not frustration and wondering why you're not getting anything.

Yeah, I haven't gotten one since the update fix If that helps with speculation.

I got a drop last friday, one monday, and another today. All solo games of various length and difficulty.
