Continued playing the first one yesterday and just did Morrigan haha. I really have to say BioWare did a good job with the sex scenes, they don't feel weird(as you'd expect sth like this in a videogame) and not only for suckers who dont get laid irl.

Dragon Age 2 will only feature one main character, meaning no race selection and no origin story selection - however he will be voiced.
"Console-dumb-it-down" or a unique different route?

Ohh it's not just the controller, the average Console player gets scared and confused if there's more than one choice to be made, Low-Five!

Exactly. But I don't even want to insult anyone based on the gaming system they use so I'll even give the console noobs the benefit of the doubt and assume they could mentally handle it, but how are you gonna fit more than one character into a console's puny ram?

Oh well i dont really care about that, in ME for example I always chose standard shepard. +he will now speak which definitely adds to the immersion factor

Is the character thing even confirmed? Seems more like a rumor to me.

Anyway, I haven't played Dragon Age, but one main character isn't a bad thing is it? Mass Effect had that too, and that was a great game.

I'd rather have a voiced character.

Meh I like having non-voiced main characters, makes me feel more like the person was actually ME. The return of the classic rpg elements was one reason DA was so awesome, I hope they don't soften that up.

The Witcher only had 1 character and this was not a console game.

I hope they keep the platforms independent of each other like the first offering. 1 game fits all end up being a load of bollocks.

Hmm i'm not sure if i like this single character thing.
If they want the characters lines to be voiced, i dont see why they couldnt suffice with a male voice and a female voice, which stays the same for every character no matter the origin.
Part of why Dragon Age appealed to me was the different back stories for each character.
Though the main story stays the same, the details of playing another origin on a second playthrough helps keep it more fresh. I havent played it a second time yet, still waiting till i cant remember too much of the specifics of each story and quest, then start with a different character and play with him/her and experience DA like new again.
