Downloading maps from Steam Workshops

I may not be doing it correctly but some maps no matter how many times I suscribe to them they never show up in my map directory. Makes for long download times. I have looked in my maps files and they are not there. Does anyone know if they go somewhere else other than the maps directory?

It's sometimes a little buggy. You are not alone.

As far as I know, they only go in the Maps folder.

You can download here. It requires a bit more work. You a have to extract the file and place it in your map folder. There are no bugs with this method, only user error.

Thanks, most of the maps download from the workshop fine, just a select few for some reason dont download to the proper directory.
