Random suggestion:
Broken doors shouldn't respawn on Hard and Suicidal.
Rationale:
In my experience gameplay comes down to finding one defensible spot, and running back and forth between the trader and that spot. If the trader is far away, the last couple of specimens are left alive to buy enough time to get to her before the 1min starts.
If doors did not respawn between waves you'd have to /save/ the most defensible spots until the end, when you need them most dearly. This change would encourage people to run around and see more of the maps and of course make things a little harder.
