Door respawns

Random suggestion:

Broken doors shouldn't respawn on Hard and Suicidal.

Rationale:

In my experience gameplay comes down to finding one defensible spot, and running back and forth between the trader and that spot. If the trader is far away, the last couple of specimens are left alive to buy enough time to get to her before the 1min starts.

If doors did not respawn between waves you'd have to /save/ the most defensible spots until the end, when you need them most dearly. This change would encourage people to run around and see more of the maps and of course make things a little harder.

My 2p, feel free to argue for/against. :)

Well, much more than a things from Hard to Suicidal, I think it would be better to make it as an option just like the friendly fire.

I think that's pretty much impossible to keep doors up the entire match if they dont respawn. fp's and gorefasts will tear through those like butter.

suicidal, sure. but not on hard.

My own personal hell
This would clearly be something that would make the game more difficult but I think it would hardly make a difference in gameplay. In most maps it is rarely the case that you weld yourself in (at least if you are playing on hard or suicidal) so you might lose a door or two if you play defensively on certain maps. Changing it hardly seems worth the amount of time to change the code (even though it would seem to take almost no time to fix).

In the worst case, that would make a good mod.
But I'd prefer seeing it integrated as an option. Thus, everyone could choose to use it or not.
