Don't spawn the same specimen together

I found that many people are starting to camp at some spawn point of official maps like 3rd floor of foundry.

Most of the time time specimens spawn, they are of the same kind. When the wave starts, usually 5-6 crawlers or 5-6 stalkers will jump off the 4th floor which players cant reach. When they jump down, the always instant-kill by people who is camping at the 3rd floor. Small specimens like crawlers, clots and stalkers are much much more annoying when they appear with Sirens/Bloats/Fleshpounds. But When they just appear as a group of 5-6 alone, they just die instantly. How about spawn 2 Crawler + 1 Siren + 1 Bloat instead of 5 Crawlers?

Another example, I see Flesh pounds spawns in a group of 2 many times. When they spawn together, 1-2 pipebomb or one demo class spamming nade launcher will take care of them TOGETHER. How about spawn one Flesh pound at this side and one at another spawn point near by? Or spawn him with a Siren to destory pipebombs for the Flesh pound?

they already do spawn fleshpounds with sirens, but it should be done more often....with a couple of husks thrown into the mix it could be devastating

I want to see the bloat bile attracting clots to the player who has been barfed all over who they will then proceed to run at at full speed.

What was this thread about again?

I rarely if ever see 2 fleshpounds spawning right next to each other.
Maybe they appeared to have spawned next to each other because they, well, walk towards you?

Try kf-farm, camp above the bridge with a truck on it. There's a high chance of them spawn together. When you play solo and get there before wave 10 starts, 2 flesh pounds spawn together under the bridge most of the time.

go play left for dead then. no running clots...... ever.

What about the patty spawning with flesh pounds. as stated in a previous post, the patty would want to have the big dogs at his side when fighting.

I must say though. the latest new maps do a good job of spawning the mobs from all directions.

I think that clots should move faster in the later waves.

Like those infected people in I AM LEGEND. That would be a great challenge, and they'd be a bit stronger.

With all the ova-powa ranged weapons out now, zeds need help closing the distance. Besides, senile, shuffling zombie-clots are not nearly as scary as running, insane rabies-clots.

Really?

Also don't confuse 'annoying' with 'scary' like silent hill 4 did it.
Well this kind of game will never ever really be scary in any way in the first place so that point is pretty moot anyway.

Agreed.

Making specs faster does not solve the inherent problem that they are easy to kill. The way the mod got around this issue is making all the specs really tough so the game ended up being a slow encroachment of enemies that would overwhelm the players if they didn't properly manage tactical decisions and target prioritization. If the current weapons can kill in very few hit (usually one) and you make the specs faster then the game turns into a game of tag where you kill everything in one hit and the only way for specs to beat the player is to accidentally ninja the players and take them out in a few hits (one at the extreme end) suicidal is already dangerously close to this.

OP:

The game uses the squad system for spawning, which spawns pre-defined groups of enemies in the spawn volumes. You can edit these while in Sandbox mode to create an all-stalkers game, for example. I think there's about 20 default squads, maybe, but it's been a while since I looked there.

There's actually lore reasons behind as to why...though I suppose most don't care for them...SCREW THE LORE I PAID WITH MONEY! >=O
