I've started playing recently, and I'm liking it. But on my 1080p monitor I can only get it to go to 1680x1050. Killing Floor works at 1920x1080...and as far as I can tell it looks like the same engine.

Can I set a custom resolution in a .ini file or something? Thanks.

Change it here in the RedOrchestra.ini:

[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
WindowedViewportX=640
WindowedViewportY=480
FullscreenViewportX=1680
FullscreenViewportY=1050

I've tried this, and it doesn't seem to work for me, either at 1080p on my monitor or at 720p on my TV in the living room. (I know, lower resolution, but 50" makes up for a multitude of sins! :D ) On the monitor I can play at 1680x1050, but it just doesn't look right. Haven't tried that yet on the TV.

I keep getting this error when I manually set the resolution:
Error Message said:

Now, obviously when I delete my .INI file, I go back to the basic available settings. Any recommendations?

in the redorchestra ini make sure the max refreshrate is set to 60hz. Otherwise it might try to use a higher refreshrate at 1080p.

Im running my 42" at 1920x1080 just fine though.

Well, I just went and blanked my hard drive and reinstalled Vista - it was about time for it anyway - and when I reinstalled, the 1080p worked just fine from the INI file. Of course, then, I had a problem with the Querying MAster Server thing .... but whatever. At least 1080p works now. :D
