I think he means he can't see any MN servers on the RO server browser list.

You have to restart Steam and look for Mare Nostrum on the Steam game list.

One thing I noticed is that by default my favorites are shown first. When I ran MN it showed Plain old RO server and for a moment I thought there were none. I just had to switch to the other tab and refresh.

I figured it out, I was looking under regular RO servers, not the MN.

So how does this work? I start MN from steam, go to multiplayer, Internet from there, remove all filters but still there is exactly 0 servers. What am I doing wrong? I have 1.1a installed.

There are FOUR install files in total.
Check whether you installed all 4 of them.
1.1a is NOT the latest patch, OB1.2 is.

If you can't see any servers (and you aren't filtering anything like by Ping, etc..)
1- Try browsing just from teh Steam Servers list (apply the Mare Nsotrum filter)
2- make sure you are patched up to the most recent version (1.2).. This version fixes compatiblity with the new master server.

I downloaded the newest versions, maybe not correctly, but there are still no servers. if someone can reitterate what I need to do again that would be great.

There are 2 paths you can install in:
The original: Get the OB 1, then d/l and apply the 1.1, 1.1a and 1.2 patches (in order). This is the current official way.

You can try the 1.2 Full Installer made by the ro.pl community.

Alos make sure you turn off your filters.

That said.. do you see 0 servers total, or just no servers with people on them?
