KF Do you think Summer update will include any RS Weapons?

I don't see how that's a bad thing. A game that appeals to the lowest common denominator means it's accessible by just about anyone.

I feel like people are making the current situation regarding game population out to be worse than it actually is. The Christmas update obviously got the game lots of revenue, and the sudden drop in players is most likely the amount of people that only bought the game because it was on sale just dropping it (though the 6 month update drought might also be helping the decrease).

Not to mention Killing Floor is still one of the top 50 games played on Steam, even at the (hopefully) end of the update drought, with the Summer event right around the corner.

I'm personally very excited for it. My current goals in KF are to get the Z.E.D. and Steampunk Mr. Foster, which is probably the best skin in the game. Plus, the game will at least be a bit more exciting, even if it's just re-launching the event without any new additions.

Let them talk about TWI if almost everyone who post here wants to, the OP is boring anyways.
I mean with every update only comes the following new things
1) A Map
2) 3-4 New Weapons
3) A New Weapon(s) DLC (Dwarf Axe and ZED fall into this catagory)
4) A New SINGLE Character DLC pack

What does it matter with weapons anyways, the trader's list is awful and more weapons means more complaints about whats OP and not.
I dont even care if they added new weapons, they did so for about 1 1/2 years.

I'm looking forward to this event. It will be the first summer event I have taken part in and also I haven't played KF since the Xmas event so it'll be a nice way to get back into it. KF always feels a lot darker and more sinister when I haven't played it for a long time.

Hope there will be a new map, but if not that's fine. I really like Abusement park anyway. Think it's really cool and it was probably the first map I ever played so it hold good memories for me.

Have we any idea at all when this might start?... even a guideline like first/second half of whatever month.

Somebody already posted the twitter here, and the event started on July 5th last year, it started on June 30th in 2011.

So we get 2 new maps (or 1 new map and 1 new misson map/Gamemode)
KF-SteamLand & SteamLand "Objective Mode"
New weapons, which im highly approving and wanted to see for some time now.
SP Jackhammer = Flintlock type gun
SPT = Mafia Tommy Gun
SPG Launcher = Like like a BlunderBust
SPS = Achievement icon looks like the Mosin.

Wow, TWI Devs, you guys really wanna give this game all it got! Cant wait for im guessing this Firday/Saturday or next monday, but im cool, please take your time with this, we just wanted to hear SOMETHING.

Note: Fractional Neutron Activator achievement is labeled as Hard though its suppose to be Suicidal.

Judging by the achievements I'd say that it was DLC, because they all include 1 new and 1 non-new gun in order to complete them.

At least that's how it was done last time.

Yeah, I can see no reason that they would have the old weapons as an alternative for the new weapons' achievements, unless the new weapons are paid DLC.

I'm guessing, based on the map name, that the "SP" in the weapons' names' initials stands for "steampunk."

new mission map sounds promising, hopefully it doesnt turn out to be junky and unintuitive, some of the custom mission maps are really fun. i think the new weapons are gonna be standalone choices, not reskins, and Mrs. Foster gets a thumbs up from me.
