Do you got top grafic settings when you play?

As title, Do you use everything on Ultra and maxed out in video settings?
And you do not experience any lagg/Problems at all while playin?


Is it just me perhaps?

I could play with everything on Ultra but wont do it feel to many details distranct from the game stuff like blooms always off

I dont get any performance issues when on Ultra, but the game tends to crash on anything above Medium, I used to run it on High but the recent patch forced me down to Medium.

My 4890 can handle everything on Ultra in 19200x1200, except I turn shadows and bloom down a notch because I don't really care about those too much. I get a constant 30-50 fps which looks fine to me, but if they can increase the fps more later, then by all means.

But why low? Does not that effect your gameplay in a negative manner?

Ultra setting master race here. I am playing this game just as much for immersion than for anything else. So yes, it's important to me.

I have an HD 4650 and have to run it on low/med at 1280x1024 (or w/e that res is).

I have a 4890, it should be able to handle it on ultra but the performance is all over the place for me.

I got GTX 460 1GB version and I run everything on ultra and get around 40-50 FPS.If I go to high i get same fps so why sacrifice the graphics, game looks great on ultra:IS2:

I maxed the settings out when I first started playing the beta, but the game was crashing far to often for my liking, so I nerfed my settings and haven't had any problems since.

Plus I don't think the current beta build is fully optimised for high/ max GFX settings. Most betas I've taken part in are always the same, some developers even reduce the options so that you can't max the settings out.

I think the game is very CPU intensive, cuz I see alto of people with the same card as me (GTX 460), and there are varying results...I play on high btw

@BigG: That makes sense, as my CPU is getting a little out dated (older quad core 2.40GHz).

I wanna throw in a good video card in a old pc I have so I can enjoy this game but I'm scared having a PCI-E v1 is to slow and will slow down modern video cards to much. Im considering throwing in a 100 dollar video card and recommendations would be appreciated.
I have a 4 year old AMD dual core 2.8 with 4 gigs of ram.
Im not spending more then 100 to get this game going.

Or maybe my new mac mini with Intel i5 at 2.4 ghz 4 gig of ram and radeon 6630 with 256ram is faster? install boot camp instead?

The the strange thing because it's supposed to be GPU intensive game, it's supposed to be the GPU that holds back the performance.

Depends on what card you have at present. I wouldn't bother going much above something like a Geforce 260GTX.

Gaming with 256mb RAM would be pretty shocking.

It's hard to really get a clear picture at present. I can run everything on full and for one reason or another my framerate is always between 30-55 regardless of how big or small the firefights are.

Using an i7 2600 and an ATI 6970. Kinda wish I had my old 260 so I could see if it actually caused my framerate to drop at all
