[Question] Distant objects changing or appearing

Let's say I am on any map, let's take the church map for example (sorry not good with proper name spelling Spartenova ?)

In the church, as allies, if I look out to where the germans come from.
I see a tree, if I right click, the tree redraws, if I then hold my breath (that zooms additionally) the tree redraws yet again.

The same happens for building appearing's or redrawing...

In other words... is there a tweak I can do in the ini file to avoid the right click hold breath redrawing due to view distance?

It isn`t only with right click.

Yesterday i played in the map grain elevator.
I was on a certain distance. I walked to the building and at once
there was a kind of basin in sight. A step back it disappeared....lol

I know it's simply the view distances that make distant objects either appear or redraw

I am guessing it's to save on video memory or something as this game has a mad amount of detail.

Just wondering if there is a known tweak for this to set further draw distances.

Not as of yet. We might consider putting in something along those lines at some point, but at the moment from the barrage of performance complaints that we've received, we don't want to move in the other direction.

I submitted a change that will eliminate the popping issues caused by sprinting. Note that this does not get rid of all the popping, but instead addresses an issue where you'd see stuff pop in/out when you stop or start sprinting from a spot. This should go out in the next update.

There is some of this on Commissar's House. From B, go (north? no compass on the maps) until you get to the 2-storey building with various bits of construction stuff on the second floor. Germans typically hide up there to shoot at Russians moving forward out of B, or moving between B and C. As you zoom in on that building, from certain spots the various bits of cover appear and disappear.
