Everybody has lots of good ideas it's just trying to implement them that causes the problem.

Dismemberment and the AI behavior is like the most important thing, though . 
In the mod.. the behavior is too simple. They spawn at an opening that has invisible walls and walk at you slowly. And most of them you can outrun..

I think that most of them you SHOULD be able to outrun (especially clots). The whole point is that they move slowly, but in such numbers that they corner you so you have to hole up.
One of the things i hate about L4d is that there are no *slow* infected. It should seem easy at first until they close in and overwhelm you.

boomers are slow
I think it makes it kinda too easily and you're just widdling them down when they're slow and strong.. It's all about distance.
I'd rather them be faster, but you can shoot their legs off to make them crawl and be slow ^^
