What is the actual difference between the different difficulties? It is only that there are more zombies per wave? Or are the zombies also harder to kill in higher difficulties, and/or come the Flesh Pound earlier?

Sorry for bad English.

Up there, in the trees...
Harder Difficulties equal harder gameplay.

More zeds

They have more health

They take off more health when they hit you

Big zeds such as the FP dont spawn earlier though, but more of them spawn

OK, thank you.
Normal I play on Normal difficulty. But it is just me, or are there a big difference between the different difficulties? Easy is all too easy for me, but on narrow maps, Normal can sometimes be to different for me.

As difficulty level increases:
  • Each wave contains more specimens
  • Specimens move faster, have more health and deal more damage
  • Specimens that can move while attacking will do so more often
  • Husks shoot more frequently and become more fire-resistant
  • Money earned is reduced
  • Money penalty for dying is increased

The types of specimens that each wave can spawn are not affected by difficulty level; however, the increased specimen counts mean that there'll be more of each type per wave, including (once you reach them) Flesh Pounds.

Additionally, on Suicidal and Hell on Earth, the following take effect:
  • Clots' grip can't be broken by jumping
  • Scrakes enrage with 75% health remaining instead of 50%
  • Scrakes become 50% resistant to Crossbow headshots, so only Sharpshooters can stun them with Crossbow bolts
  • Flesh Pounds' resistance to Crossbow headshots increases from 50% to 65%
  • Sharpshooters' headshot damage bonus is greatly reduced for the 9mm Tactical
  • Level 6 Berserkers no longer spawn with body armour

Hope that helps.

The jump from Normal to Hard is easy enough to do If you have the perk level for it, the jump from hard to suicidal is significant, you need to be level 6 and even then some don't make it.

The jump to Hell On Earth from Suicidal isn't that big really, If you master Suicidal, you can master Hell On Earth.

It all depends on your perk level ultimately:

Easy = Level 0+

Normal = Level 1 - 2

Hard = Level 3 - 4

Suicidal = Level 5 - 6 (6 is recommended)

Hell On Earth = Level 6 (no other level will survive)

And level 6 medic gets a speed nerf, only +20% speed boost, instead of +25%

I agree with you but a LVL 4 can handle Suicidal well and help the team.
On HoE, 5 is the definitine minimum with 6 of course being what you should allways use.
I've seen a LVL 0 Berserker survive ALONE in Wave 10 HoE Farm with a Katana and the Winchester.
Most likely was a long time player who reseted his stats because of boredom but it was still eerily good.
