....What's an ENB?

Literally nothing here or in that topic says what ENB is.

Tbh I don't third-party post processing. I used different ENBs for Fallout 3 and came to conclusion that the game looks - or to be more precise - feels better without it.

ENB makes pretty picture on the "paper", i.e. in screenshot or gameplay video. But when you're actually playing the game, it steals part of its atmosphere, making you feel like watching a movie not like being a part of the game. And that's only if you have modern high-end PC. Otherwise it can halve your framerate.

Some games I would agree, however some games also can stress the atmosphere of the environment. In that case, ENB's become an amazing enhancing quality to the game. Aliens: Colonial Marines (let us not discuss how scary this game was in OTHER ways, please) is a great example of where an ENB enhancer adds to a game rather than detracts from one.

That's your opinion. I think it's great, but you need to have a good pc, or you will get frame drops.

We are talking about Killing Floor, though. I can deal with half of 200 fps.
Realy? Even when you're facing 20 zeds?

I don't see how the amount of zeds on screen makes 100 fps less playable.

The tweak looks wakky so it's worth a try. Though I suspect it's mostly just excessive use of lens flare and bloom.

Try it out yourself. Uninstall takes 2 seconds.

I'm using it for a day now, and I have used it in past, and never got banned. I also don't know anybody who changed (moded) files, and got banned in KF, and I have 61 friends who play it and counting.

ENB in multiplayer can give "graphics advantages" thus why using ENB's in PvP multiplayer is a ban-able offense. Its also why Activision is being extremely aggressive over FoV changers on PC as they give a competitive advantage over other players (also why they don't have them in the game options now).

I think most effects if they're not done right end up making games look like a muddy pos and actually quite a bit worse than stock.
I'm a fan of clean and crisp graphics personally.

Yeah, some people can abuse it and add other stuff instead of bloom effects.Let's not forget that VAC bans for modifying .dll files and as far as i know to get ENB you gotta replace the original .dll file with another one.

This. Up until yesterday I'd been playing at a framerate of 20 or less and it's still doable.
With my new rig though, it still feels like a whole new world. All smooth. Can't wait to play all the games that previously just gathered dust in my library because they wouldn't run.
