The idea that the Soviet Union beat Nazi Germany through human sacrifice is just another tactic used by the Ruling Class in Western countries to try and discredit Communism, and scare and discourage people from supporting it.

The Ruling Class like to mention how the Soviet Union paid the most in blood during World War Two, but what they don't like to mention is how the Soviet Union also eliminated the most German Soldiers and played the largest role in defeating Nazi Germany. - But what do you expect when Marxism is a great threat to their big bank accounts?

Thanks for the awesome read :). Never really knew what specific tactics the Red Army used during Stalingrad, and now I do. Really interesting stuff.

Nightrider, it sure sounds like we'll be needing lots of grenades to become Heroes!

I've read that General Alexander Rodimtsev who commanded the 13th Guards Division during the battle conferred with Chuikov to develope further these storm group tactics. As a veteran of the urban warfare in Madrid during the Spanish Civil War, Rodimtsev already had combat experience with street fighting. I'm going to try to check into this further.

question

question

when Marxism is a great threat to their big bank accounts?

yeah...

Budapest 1956...
Prague 1968...

Nazis losts the war...but nazism win the world...

Nazism is a german bolchevism !

Read Hannah Arendt and anothers writers about the similar danger of the nazism AND communism...

ARENDT. Hannah, The Origins of Totalitarianism, The totalitarian system, Ed North Compo, Paris, 1972, page 40.

"The most worrying in the success of totalitarianism, is more authentic selflessness of its members: it is understandable that a Nazi or a Bolshevik is not shaken in his convictions when crimes are committed against people who are not movement or even hostile to it, but the amazing thing is he does not blink as the monster begins to devour its own children, or if he becomes himself the victim of persecution if he is wrongfully convicted, deported party, sent to forced labor or in a concentration camp. On the contrary, to the amazement of the civilized world, it may even be willing to help his accusers and making his own death sentence provided one does not affect his membership of the movement. "

DUMONT. Louis, Essays on individualism, Editions of Seuil, Paris, 1983, page 161.

"Nationalism and Marxism are both built on a foundation individualistic" nominalist "and both claim to have access to a community - nation, or class - endowed with a reality that is incomprehensible to mere aggregates of individuals They would have a destiny, the promise of development, and even a will, or characteristics that can not proceed from a holistic mode of thinking, "universalist". "

DUMONT. Louis, Essays on individualism, Editions of Seuil, Paris, 1983, page 163.

"I wrote once that totalitarianism is a disease of modern society 'is apparent from the attempt in a society where individualism is deeply rooted and dominant to subordinate to the primacy of society as a whole."

LEVESQUE. Morvan, by Camus himself, Editions of Seuil, Coll. Writers always, 1963, p. 107.

"The Jacobins have tightened moral principles and prepared both contemporary nihilism: that of the individual and the state. "

CAMUS. Albert, The Righteous, Ed Gallimard, Coll. Folio, page 63.

"Stepan, I am ashamed of myself and yet I will not let you continue. I agreed to kill to overthrow despotism. But behind what you say, I see advertise a despotism which, if not settled, will make me a murderer, so I try to be a vigilante. "

Stalingrad

Stalingrad

90% of the stalingrad city was in the hand of axis in november 42 !

The goal of axis were strategicaly and tacticaly reached !
( objectives were :
1) occupy the volga river for block the boat
2) and destroy the tank factories of this city )

Axis do also a great job in Stalingrad, the BIGGEST battle of street fitghing in the world (and of all the times ! )

Axis troups do good job also in the Rattenkrieg look like in the Blitzkrieg.

It'll be interesting to see how the devs handle assault troops in the street-to-street fighting. Wonder if we'll get satchels full of grenades and a PPSH with one or two extra mags.

I'm hoping us sniperism types have something to do, but I'll be limbering up my twitchy fingers just in case I'm invited to the block party too. ;)

Slacking soldiers and other misdemeanor were punished heavily, execution being a widely used punishment in the sovjet army, although this changed when time passed in the battle of Stalingrad and the political officers were replaced.

In game-words: I would love to teamkill useless campers (without any punishments for TK-ing)) in this game as the Komandir Otledentelya.

f you want to be really realistic, you should be allowed to massacre your entire team and bury them in a forest, then blame it on the germans.
