it's rather simplistic and wrong in some cases and i don't really understand the goal of it.
it is praising the benefits of american society by comparing it to the first democracies that existed over 2000 years ago, and also with the worst dictatorships of modern history. obviously the american form of governance is better than those, but not the perfect system at all. afterall it allowed slavery, or more recently that some presidents got elected while most of the americans voted for the other guy etc...
according to that film i live under a dictotorship because belgium is a monarchy, but like almost all countries we have a constitution, wich makes us a constitutional monarchy.
but again i don't understand the goal of the video, is it pro-republican in the way of "republicans want less government" (while they did the contrary in the past decade and also took away constitutional rights ffs)
is it pro democratic? or what is it?

I think it's clear that the US isn't a democracy anymore for quite some time. President placing himself above the senate, stolen elections etc. I believe the worst is yet to come though, but we'll see.

In before lock.

The "American form of government" is nothing like the one the founding fathers intended it to be. And it hasn't been a republic for a long time. By that video it is already an oligarchy...

And since when has anarchy always meant that people would be violent and stealing from eachother? An anarchic government is one where government is not neccessary, because the people do not need it. It is impossible to achieve an anarchic state without "a fresh slate to work on", people on a whole aren't good enough. This is probably due to the failed society they live in already, the habits and general thinking of which cannot be applied in an anarchic system. You'd need a society full of chun tzu's (confucian ideal being).

I've been reading Thomas Paine, Jefferson and Franklin...with a bit of Cicero in there for good historical measure lately. Modern governments are so off the mark, so biased, and so imposing it's not even funny anymore.

I found it atleast mildly interesting, but i decided against saying it was atleast partly wrong to give peeps an unbiased view.

Il have to agree with some peeps here, Constitutional monarchy was totaly ignored in the video, although its a quasy mix of absolute government (monarch), and law, and a parliment...

@ralfster: hey if you want we can sidetrack this post and get on the topic of 911 truth movement:D, although i doubt an IBTL is very necessary, religion, science, and further reviews from G4TV have yet to be mentioned in the post...:)

it could be one of those "counter-conspiracy video's" that explain a real thing (american society moving away from what the founding fathers intended it to be) by using wrong or rediculous theories and examples. so that it dis-credits the verry thing it is supposed to prove. just like you have all these completely wacked 9/11 video's that are almost rediculous, and wich are used in the mass media to discredit the other more plausible 9/11 video's that do make some sense.
