[Question] Demo

I try to recorder a little demo with command demorec "name of file" then i stopped with demostop command, i go in the folder of rogame>demo, ok it is recorder...
I restart Ro:Hos and try to start demo with demoplay "name of file".....but don't work....
the game continue the load for an infinite time, when i press "esc" i have an error and game crash....


If i want force a demorec from server i can with last patch?

An admin must start the demo on the server. And the demo will be saved to the server.

ok and for play a demo?
demoplay "name of file" don't work....

You can't record the demo at a user level. A server admin has to initialize the demo. You'll need fraps if you want to record gameplay.

Yes i use fraps for my videos, but i need for our server see the demo recorded...

Once you've recorded the demo on the server, you need to put it into a directory in your documents/mygames/redorchestra2/demos (you may need to create this folder) on your client for it to work.

I've recorded demo's on the server, using the commands you have used. It works fine.

I've then ftp'd the file to my own pc and is plays back just fine. The location on your PC will depend on where the game is installed and the version of the operating system. For Windows 7 my location is

C:\Users\puggy\Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Demos>

Once I copy the .demo file into that location, it plays back fine.
