Delete KF and repurchase?

Still can't figure out how to reset my perks, so is there a way I can permanently delete KF from my Steam account and repurchase?

I want to start from scratch......

I did find out that all my achievements have been reset, but still not my perks....

There are a little over five billion threads about resetting perks. How have you tried to reset them?

Also, as far as I know, there's no way to permanently "delete" KF. I believe you'll need to repurchase it on a separate account.

yea in the threads that i've read the reset of perks hasn't been succesful in any of them. but i bought the game portal and activated it on my account. the key cant be transfered from account to account. the game never worked on my computer so i never got to play it and my account got deleted for inactivity. so i started a new to find out i spent money for a game that i will never be able to play. im pissed and they said there's nothing they can do.

pluberus has tried adding the command line that worked pre-patch, so he's quite rightly asking if there's a post patch reset.

i reset using the kf.ini line ...but apparently it doesnt work now. (i'm not going to re-try it for myself just yet)

I've tried the KF.ini thing and it used to work. However, it only seems to reset achievements (not perks) now.

The Devs must of done something with it in the last patch.

I know it's possible to reset perks, because I had a friend do it, though I don't care to know how.

If you really want to buy yourself another legitimate copy and just do it that way, sign up for a new Steam account. Use gmail or hotmail if you need a new e-mail.

You can even gift the copy from your original Steam account, so that you don't have to enter your card info a second time.

To intentionally reset stats:

You open the killing floor .ini and add

[Engine.SteamStatsAndAchievementsBase]
bResetStats=true

then save and exit, start up to be sure everything is reset, close the game. Reopen Killing floor.ini

Remove
[Engine.SteamStatsAndAchievementsBase]
bResetStats=true

Save .ini

Your stats are reset! Stat progression should now work as normal from 0-6 again. Be sure to remove the stat reset line, or I don't think it'll save progression. This also removes achievements.

this is what i did to reset ma perks some time ago, if it still doesn't work, then....iuno :s

I've reset my perks once before (a lonnnnggg time ago), but the command doesn't work anymore...
