I have not played the machine gunner class much on the Russians, I know the German's get bigger magazines for their weapons however I have read that the Russian Light Machine Gun had a belt fed variant called the RP-46. Would a belt fed upgrade be possible as I believe the German's get it as an upgrade for their machine gun?

Second request is the addition of the PPS-42 seeing as the Germans have 2 main weapons for the Assault, SL and Commander classes could the Russians get the same as well?

Ah my bad, sorry. I think the PPS42 was used in Stalingrad however

Apparently mass production of the PPS42 didn't begin until spring 1943 but as the Germans have the Mkb 42 I imagine it wouldn't be too much of a realism stretch to add the PPS42. I'll keep an eye out for some photographic evidence :)

PPS42 was produced in Leningrad, the Siege wasn't entirely lifted until the start of 1944, not a lot of chance of exporting it.

That said TW has pretty much pissed historical accuracy out the window so we don't really have to worry about that.

The PPS42, was made almost exclusively in Leningrad, so don't expect to see it in this game, since 1: was not issued to troops in Stalingrad, and 2: really didn't see mass production until 43, and then was called the PPS43

As for the DP28, well it didn't really have any upgrades to it, so having any for balance sake is silly. The MG34 shouldn't even have the stupid saddledrum, but be belt fed like it was most of the time. The problem with trying to give the Russians more unique upgrades/weapons is that they basically didn't exist. The Russians found something that worked and usually left it the hell alone. Their stuff was basically fail proof (Except the SVT40...Russians generally hated it as it actually required cleaning, but the German troops loved em!)

If you wanted to add in new exotic weapons, then look back at some old Finish weapons, or look at the PPD40, but like the MKB, you are running into very rare weapons that have no place in the game.
