I'll give an update on this. One of the key developers has gone AWOL for a few days. He has the final build on his machine (he is the main coder). This is what I've been led to understand is the current situation.

Would it be possible for somebody else to release an earlier build? Because if this guy doesn't show up for another week or even longer, I'd say that would be a smart option. It's nice to release a complete product, but releasing one to a PO'ed community kind of negates that.

I'm assuming everyone's a volunteer here. Go easy; most of you have spent a decade or two or three or four without this game, so a few more days (or whatever) won't make that much of a difference.
