Hey RO gurus!
A friend of mine built our own RO:O server and we are having a little problem. The server runs fin, we can see it in the server list. Unfortunatly we are unable to join! I was able to figure out why! I right clicked on the server and saw (in the Join IP menu) that the server was linked to port 2042 for example "255.255.0.255:2042". Is there a way to set the dedicated server to use the standard 7757 port instead of always change the IP port manually? Probably a .ini setting or something?

Thanks

Maudit

On top of that could this be the reason why we cannont se the server Info and the ping show "N/A" on the Internet Server list?

Hey spraduke,
The port is indeed open since changing the port in the "Change or Join IP" and using 7757 makes us connect! Could it be that the server is on a Wireless router? The server is not protected by ZoneAlarm or any other firewalls.

thats possibly because the query port isnt opened. Check the stickys at the top for a starter config
ll ports are opened and fowarded, I`m the admin of the problematic server and I am not the type to do things without getting my info first. I read the sticky and about 90% on the forum :)

It's that the port that get's posted is not the 7757 but 2042, but the server is setup on 7757...kinda very wierd...
