Declining number of populated Classic servers. Bots everywhere.. What now?

I played some Ro2 yesterday (first time in two weeks) and I noticed a steep drop in the total ro2/RS player count. I am used to seeing 1,100-1,600 ish at that hour; but this time it was only 600-ish.

I've noticed a pretty steady decline over the past two weeks. I think the RS effect has worn off.

Greetings. Im one of the RO1 veterans with some 1360h wasted on it. Absolutely loved it and everything about it. The weapon sway. The buggy "your arms shake more the longer you keep on aiming" thing. That was reseted just simply re-entering the sights. ... Anyway.

I dont post often. Just read the news, popular topics, etc.. I really feel that I must speak my mind. "Classic" mode, for me is on permanent boycot. The reason why can be seen in some of the "better folk" writings on this thread. And the posts before them. On the forum. (Mature players?)

Nice job! Realism and custom settings all the way! Some russian servers had pretty sweet experimentation with the basic "realism" settings. No enemy weapons on spawn, no matter what. Etc...

Can you explain this some more. As I'm a little dumb and don't understand what you mean by this ?
I think you mean that people like you have the true "RO Franchise spirit" and people who joined since RS or other people ruined this spirit ? If so i think we are all doomed by elitism....
