Roughly 500 votes is a lot for a game like RO. If TWI manage to make 500 people happy with the game it will do good for them. It doesn't really matter if we aren't the majority.

Look at the server browser, there are only 80 players at FF and CD mode
together, what makes me believing that the realism guys are 99% of the
RO players. I dont know who told TWI anything else.

Yeah, I'm quite impressed to see the number of voters on the poll - 870+. That's pretty much the whole playerbase I tend to see in the server list, on UK evenings :) It's a shame we have a small (ish) community, but it's really impressive that most of us are here expressing our views and support. Not many communities can claim the same :)

I'd like to see top 2 option implemented in next update: RO:O gameplay and removed unlocks/upgrades/player progression (but added attachable bayonet for rifles).
Then another vote and another update.

btw: few weeks ago, somebody said that size of community who wants RO:O gameplay back is ~0.001%. I see 50% + 10% of active playerbase.

True the community is small, but sometimes this just enhances the experience. The developers actually ask the community what they want to see, and they follow it up with constant patching. I just decided to play RO2 again (after leaving it for a couple months), and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the game is in a much better state then what it was the weeks following it's release. Aside from the developers, look at the community; a majority of RO/RO2 players are mature, intelligent, gamers.
I haven't yet seen someone teabagging another player in this game... and that's saying something when you look at the current FPS state. :p

So should I buy the game? Some say yay, others nay, and i'm like "Well i'm just gonna wait for a free weekend :p"

I'd wait for a free weekend :) heh

Joking aside - I think the game IS worth the price tag, but TWI do have some fairly important fixes and improvements still to make. Quiet a list in fact, as you've probably seen in these threads. So, I'll stick with the response above - wait for the free weekend, unless you're happy to buy in the knowledge that some things are still broken, and some things really need changing or improving :)

Very well, i'll wait, but I hope I won't have to wait for much too long. Maybe the Holdiay season or it's aftermath will bring some variety ^_^

I would buy it. It's an incredible game, with very intensive multiplayer and alot of realism. It's no RO:OST, it's well a different type of realism, as strange as that sounds. A great game though, just not the same as the first, which is neither good nor bad IMO.

You'll have a veeeery small community in RO2 if it goes back to land of near-sighted men who cannot shoot or move.

That community excludes me. I was very happy that RO2 brought soldiers to what they were - men who are able to run and able to see like a normal human being. If I want to play clumsy guys, I'll play QWOP, not RO.

What's QWOP?

I agree though, they had to slow down the movement of the soldiers in Ro, so when you'll want to run away from a grenade you just won't be able to.

I just fear that the bugs can be different from machine to machine, so i'll just wait and see if there's nothing serious wrong about it as people say(or at least most of my Steam friend's list)

Small? Community voted in poll and majority wants RO:O back. Clumsy? RO2 already has better animations but overall speed, lack of momentum and human reactions are the problem.

Beside that relaxed realism will stay as it is now, so don't see reason to rage.

*wahhhhhhhhhh*

You have not listened to one thing that myself or others who want realism have asked for. You foolheadedly assume we want clunky movement back, and keep on kicking that as if it actually was a talking point. Why dont you go kick that strawman argument elsewhere?

I say again ( waste of breath because You will ignore this ) I like the more fluid movement, but I want inertia for stopping so I cannot go from a full run to standing & aiming my weapon in .25 of a second.

I'm gonna have to go with the majority and ask for better realism aspects not for the sake of realism but for the sake of general balance. My only real gripe is lockdown, though.

both of the REALISM options. Seriously it cant be that hard to implement them both...no need to make them 2 separate updates.

Every timei see someone with an mp40/II, i turn the game off and go back to rearranging my desktop

i was tempted to say "everything" but im going to try to be serious for once. I mean you know something is wrong with the game when the devs post a massive list and ask you which fix they should undertake first. Next thing you know devs will be releaseing a game consisting of an empty white box and ask you if they should add enemies or the map textures first...
