I was using deathmessagemode=3 in my server startup and death messages were working fine. Then I heard that deathmessagemode=3 is is obselete and to use deathmessagemode=DM_ALL instead, but for some reason using this in the startup prevents death messages on my server. Can anyone confirm what I should be using to get death messages to show?
