I have been through 5 servers. None of them are client side hit detection server.

Sigh. I think those with 150 +ping will agree with me. Im tired of shooting someone but bullet wont register hit. If you did server side. People who lives near server would get advantage.

Anyway, is there anyway to filter those server side and clinet side server?

Most, if not all, servers are using client-side. It is a default server setting.

Most if not all of the servers right now use server side hit detection. Beside, why would anyone not use this on his server anyway?

Kinda dumb question, but.. How do you find out what settings the server is using beyond custom/not custom?

Most all the savvy Admins have it set to Client-Side. ;)

 Last year, or the year before, there was a raucous debate over client side vs server side. Client side was the de-facto winner and method of choice.
The few servers who may be still using server side may simply not appreciate the issues they may be forcing players to experience. But my gosh, if you can't find popular servers that are exclusively set to client side, then you must be restricting yourself quite a bit.

I play on servers where there is Client side hit detection and I still say I make some shots that I'm sure I missed, I'm truly amazed, and I have been shot 'after I ducked or rounded a corner.'

Given the choice I prefer server side but I bow down to the majority :p

You don't miss shots in R02 because the bullet deviation cone and the variables that affect it are much too relaxed and always have been. Every player ends up being Vasily Zaytsev in almost every instance. But that's a discussion for a different thread.

With server side hit detection enabled the game may become more challenging but the end result is too much of an immersion breaker. Server side destroys round velocities...meaning the time it takes a round to land downrange becomes in part dependent on your latency. Back when server side detection was the norm I can remember instances having to lead a running target so far ahead it felt like I was firing a paintball gun instead of a rifle. A 2800fps round should not appear to traverse the battlefield at 300fps. Hence .. why we now have the more popular client side hit detection.
