Hi guys !

I saw the gameplay videos, that's just EPIC, can't wait !

BUT one thing : everytime someone gets killed, he drops dead instantly. Am I right ?

In real war, you don't always die instantly. I don't mean something like agonizing for hours, but it would be cool to add some "rest of life" for some seconds on the soldiers ragdoll, randomly (cause there IS instant kills too.)

That could lead to more impressive situations, when your "almost dead" mates try to crawl, or just move on their back while dying and moaning. It don't require to reinvent the physics, just adding some sort of behaviors, maybe ?

I know the game is 99% finished now, but it could be a nice feature on a following patch !

Just an idea. :)

What's your opinions, gentlemen ?

Thanks, mate :D

What I mean is some kind of animation where the deadly wounded one still moving for some random time, from 5 seconds to 15 seconds maybe... Not all bodies, but some of them on a random basis. Like trying to crawl very slowly, or just rolling on their back while moving arms in a pathetic attempt to recover.

I'm gonna check if I can find a video showing what kind of movements I mean ! :p

That does exist, you may of noticed sometimes people writhing in pain on the floor, or the part of a clip where he's shooting out the window with a PPsh and then he gets hit, slowly his vision darkens and he dies while stating "Heh, they finally got me comrades..."

And 5-15 seconds? If you're losing that much blood and writing in pain on the floor, you wouldn't have that much time available and depending on the bullet wound (Which can be pretty severe, especially from a k98 etc) you'd be losing large amounts of blood with that.

They wanted to give people a -slim- chance at getting their attacker, but they didn't want to do what the COD teams did with their last stand crap, keep in mind TWI are aiming towards a WW2 War Simulator, they want everything to be as realistic as possible while being fun at the same time.

Misunderstanding here, I wasn't talking about a "playable" agony, just some kind of animation that you don't even see yourself (cuz for the game, you're dead). I was not talking about a gameplay feature, only some sort of "ambiance" feature :)

(and if you got a K98 round stucked in your chest, assuming it's not in your heart, you can last 20 minutes moaning in agony !) (hours, in the guts) (but that's another topic :'D )

"To give you an example of what I’m talking about, I shot an enemy soldier in the stomach and I was close enough to hear him. He didn’t just scream and die; he bled out, crying and sobbing in Russian while he died… Slowly. For a few seconds I honestly thought, “sorry dude.” Those aren’t the only sounds you will hear. There has been more than one time I have been in a different room with an ally, heard a gunshot go off, and then heard my ally screaming, SCREAMING, in agony as he died. It’s very hard to describe the feeling that it gives you, but it definitely adds intensity and emotion into the game."

Yes, that is somewhat ingame, you're incapacitated and bleeding out (as I stated)

Have you seen the wound that a k98 can do? the rifle is a beast, there's a video on the internet somewhere of someone firing an m1Garand at a clay target and then firing a k98 at a target, the m1 garand clay target had a clear and neat entrance wound and the exit wound was somewhat lethal.

The k98 tore the target in half that was a clear view on how powerful the rifle is, surviving a hit like this is impossible and almost certain if not immediate death, you wouldn't last 20 minutes.
