DDE Unlock: Replace AVT with PPSh drum

Pretty much as the title. I imagine many people would prefer the drum over the AVT.

Personally I'm a fan of the AVT, and kind of prefer it over the PPSh, drum or no drum. All the fun and goodness of a solid semi auto rifle, plus an easy switch to a not too bad room cleaning full auto burst weapon. (Because lets face it, blowing through it all in one go is kind of a waste.)


Honestly, while I'm sure more people would prefer the PPSh drum over the AVT unlock, the amount of whining and cries of "You lied to us! I payed for DDE and demand your first born because you STOLE my AVT!" simply aren't worth it.

I got a better idea: completely remove the box magazine and the semi auto unlock. Make it have a drum and semi-auto by default. No unlocks. SMG version of the DP-28.

Problem solved.

No ... we should have the select fire .. wich is not a great deal IMHO because single shot with the ppsh has the same recoil that shooting bursts .

800 kills for drum upgrade is really not that much of a difficult task even if you use lone wolf run and gun tactic. Fire select on PPSH is a stupid idea though.

or, the 20-round box mag for AVT. There's about as much evidence for that as there is for the MkB our the AVT itself... Would make the AVT well worthwhile.

I like this idea; though, I don't think it's a permanent solution for balancing out Axis vs Ally assault roles.

The avt is pretty useless past 50 feet for some reason. Ppsh drum mag for me all the way...

When I paid for my DDE it was only to get the AVT the best rifle of WW2.

If you don't use full auto on the AVT you are doing it WRONG

2-3 round burst are devastating

AVT is awesome if you now how to manage it ... anyway ... a lot of people payed extra cash for it , TWI is still selling the extra pack with AVT , STG , G41 and SVT snipe ... do you really think they are going to replace that weapon ?
